    From the moment a hair follicle is extracted, its nutrient supply is cut off. Exposure to air can cause it to dry out, leading to the death of follicular cell tissue.

    Extracted follicles must be stored in a low-temperature environment of 2-8°C. During this time, the follicles are kept in a cytokine solution until transplantation to maintain their health and ensure they are stored safely.
